About this tour

Embark on this epic journey through the pristine wilderness of China’s northernmost frontier. This is more than just a cycling trip—it’s an in-depth exploration into the heart of nature and a quest for the charm of borderlands. Starting from Mohe, known as “China’s Arctic,” we travel south through the rolling forests of the Greater Khingan Range, the winding Ergun River, and the vast Hulunbuir Grasslands, all the way to the grassland city of Haillar. Each day, you will be immersed in a different landscape and story.

This route is designed for cyclists who love nature, yearn for distant places, and seek to break away from the ordinary. Whether you are a photography enthusiast, a nature explorer, or a seeker of inner peace, these 11 days will leave you with lifelong memories—of the forest’s breath, the grassland’s breeze, the borderland’s sunset, and the freedom of heading north.
