Accommodation: Lhasa. Lhasa, meaning "Holy Land" in Tibetan, is the heart of Tibet and a paradise for believers. Renowned through the ages as the "City of Sunshine," every ray of sunlight seems imbued with the Buddha's compassion, bathing every corner of the city. We start our journey from Lhasa. It is recommended that everyone arrive in Lhasa 1-2 days in advance to acclimatize to the high-altitude environment (Lhasa elevation: 3685m). Lhasa has many fascinating places to visit. For those arriving early, we recommend visiting the Potala Palace, Barkhor Street, and the Jokhang Temple. Please note that tickets for the Potala Palace require advance reservation, so plan your time accordingly.
Accommodation: Nagarzê County Yamdrok Lake, Tibetan for "Jade Lake," is one of Tibet's three great holy lakes. Located in Nagarzê County, Shannan City, the lake surface sits at 4441 meters above sea level. It stretches approximately 130 km east-west, 70 km north-south, with a total shoreline of 250 km and an area of 638 square kilometers.
Accommodation: Shigatse The Karola Glacier is located in Gyangzê County, Shigatse City, near Yamdrok Lake. The scenery beneath its glacial tongue is particularly spectacular. As a continental glacier, Karola is renowned for its massive ice tongue, azure glacial lakes, and the backdrop of surrounding snow-capped mountains. Visitors can experience the grandeur of the glacier and the awe-inspiring craftsmanship of nature here.
Accommodation: Tingri County Gyatso La Pass, also known as the Tingri Border, is the mountain pass for the Mount Everest National Nature Reserve and a mandatory route for climbers attempting the summit from the north side.
