Longest day. Generally flat with possible rolling hills. Coastal views dominate.
Coastal riding, includes navigating around Xinying Bay. Roads can be variable; some sections might be less developed.
Mix of coastal and inland routes. May encounter some hills as you move southward.
Shorter, rewarding day. Gently rolling terrain as you approach the southern tip.
The finale into Sanya! Starts flat, with potential for hills as you round the island's southern corner towards Sanya Bay.
Drop-off and Departure.
A self-guided tour gives you the freedom to cycle at your own pace, following a pre-planned route with no logistical support provided. You receive detailed route notes, GPS tracks, and 24/7 support, but you are not required to ride with a guide or a fixed group. It’s the perfect blend of independence and organization.
The route primarily follows the well-established Hainan Tourism Road and provincial roads. While the entire loop isn’t consistently signposted for cyclists, our navigation materials are specifically designed to keep you confidently on track throughout the journey.
Your safety is our priority. All participants have access to a 24/7 emergency support hotline. We also provide a list of local bike shops along the route and can arrange assistance or transport if needed. For self-guided tours, basic toolkits and spare tubes are recommended

This is a challenging tour designed for cyclists with good endurance. You should be comfortable riding 80-120km per day for multiple consecutive days, often in tropical conditions. Regular training prior to the trip is highly recommended.
Yes, to an extent. The standard itinerary is 11 riding days, but we can often help arrange extra rest days in locations like Sanya or modify the trip length to better suit your schedule. Contact us for custom options.
